Tobacco Control Program
Rotary Club Dharamshala, in collaboration with CATCH (NGO working on the Tobacco Control Program), organized two seminars on Tobacco Control Awareness at Dr RPGMC Tanda. The seminars aimed to educate the community about the harmful effects of tobacco and raise awareness about the provisions of the COTPA Act 2003. The first seminar took place at Dronacharya BEd College in Rait, where students and faculty members actively participated. The second seminar was held at the Zila Parishad Hall and targeted the members of the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs). Rtn Tej Singh, the newly appointed President of Rotary Club Dharamshala, and PP Rtn Ajay Sharma, the program coordinator for the awareness campaign, expressed their gratitude for the presence of esteemed guests.
