ROTARY CLUB MIDTOWN CELEBRATED FORTNIGHT OF NATIONAL EYE DONATION & CORNEAL EYE TRANSPLANT
Rotary Club Hoshiarpur Mid Town celebrated Fortnight of National Eye Donation & Corneal Eye Transplant at Punjab National Bank, Jalandhar Road, Hoshiarpur under Presidentship of Rtn. Amarjit Singh Arneja. Mr. Kamaljit Singh Senior Manager of Punjab National Bank was the Chief Guest. Sh. Bahadur Singh Sunet & Baljit Singh of Eye Donation Society, Hoshiarpur were special Guest of honor. Importance of Eye Donation after death was informed to people. it is reported that eyes are only human organ which can be transplant to corneal blind patients. Corneal is available only if we donate our eyes after our death.. Members of the Club have also taken a oath to donate their eyes as well as of their family members to participate in this holy work. A memento was also given to sh. Kamaljit Singh as a honor to his presence. the Function was ended with vote of thanks from the chair.
