Swachh Bharat Event
With the collaboration of our partner organization youth football club rurka kalan and the water supply and sanitation department, we conducted an event in the village. On this occasion,the staff of YFC and rotary members along with kids cleaned the streets, roads. We are also working on village development.Panchayats in Punjab who have worked for the improvement and development of villages were honored by Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa at a state-level function on the occasion of "Swachh Bharat Diwas".The chairperson of Rotary and the sarpanch of Rurka Kalan village attended this event. In this event ,our village was also selected ,so that our village Rurka Kalan was honored with the "Uttam Pind" award by the cabinet minister of water supply and sanitation in the 24 panchayats. This village is very proud of Rurka Kalan.
