Today was the first Service project of the year under chair Rtn Dr Indu Gupta i.e. the New Team at SL Bhawan s School jointly with other Amritsar Rotary clubs & Chinmaya mission Amritsar to celebrate Annapurna Day.
Giving Ration to 250 ladies every month from last 21 years.
Meeting was started by PDG Avinash Mahendru also Chairman of Chinmaya Mission.
All participating clubs Presidents were made to sit on Dias.
He gave little background history of widows ration started 21 yrs back and how geniune deserving ladies selection is made by the team visiting them.
He welcomed all Rotarians and Presidents and chief guest Rtn Rohit Oberoi DGN & every president were also garlanded
Every president & chief guest was made to speak for few minutes & then ended with National Anthem.
Distribution of ration was done.
