World Polio Day 24 October
Rotary club of Dharamshala organised a talk on Polio to celebrate World Polio day in Govt Primary School Mant Shyamnagar. Dr. Rimjhim Bersain MD Pediatrics was the main speaker. She told the students that Polio is a debilitating and life threatening disease.A virus can effect the brain and spinal cord and Polio can be easily preventable by the Polio vaccine. The general health checkup of students from class 1st to 5th was also carried out and medicines were also given to the students. The calcium syrup, tablets, syrup B- complex, Syrup albendazole, syrup vitamin d and syrup levocetrizine were also given to the students.Thanks to Dr Rimjhim Bersain , Rtn Sangram Guleria ji, Rtn.
