Managing Distractions
Rotary Club Helping Hands Jammu in association with Indian Institute of Technology Jammu on 4th Nov.at 11am Organised a Guest Lecture for students of IIT jagti Jammu campus where Rtn.Dr Padmakshi Lokesh _ well known clinical psychologist of Banglore & achiever of many national awards delivered Lecture to the IITians on topc"Digital Detox& Managing distractions".Ms Rythma student of IIT delivered welcome address in todays function presided over & coordinated by President of Rotary Club jammu Rtn.Mrs Karuna Gupta with close cooperation of Secretary & treasure of club Rtn Jaswinder Kuku Singh & Rtn.Sunny gupta and other members Dr Prem Sharma and Mrs.Vandana Sharma . Padmakshi in question answer session with students during her adress emphasised on drawing a dividing line between distractions & the goal i.e."digital detoxification in a manner where mental balance is well maintained & no such modern digital toxic material like "pubg"etc or some emotional interactions may not subdue the intelligence of budding minds .She suggested various psychological corrective measures to detox digital distractions & emphasised strong will & good rapport with sane advise from parents ,teachers .The session ended with vote of thanks by Rtn.Mrs.Karuna gupta president whereby she had all regards & praise for todays Speaker RTN.Dr padmakshi for her valuable psychological inputs in young minds; She also extended sincere gratitude to IIT administration specially Prof Dr Amitash Ojha & Ryan Khullar Fintech club IiT Coordinator & students for making todays session fruitfull one.The Session ended with cup of tea & snacks.
