Rotary Club Jammu Helping Hands donates Water Cooler and Water Purifier to Girls Higher Secondary School, City Chowk, Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion Rtn Karuna Gupta (Club President) informed that Rotary?s people of action mobilize resources, form partnerships, and invest in infrastructure that yield long-term change to create healthier communities by supplying clean water and sanitation facilities to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
SSP J&K Police Sandeep Mehta was the Chief Guest and Joint Director (Tourism) Sunaina Mehta was Guest of Honour.
SSP J&K Police Sandeep Mehta apprised that he is always keen to help the schools with the necessary tools to assist the children in their learning process, and providing clean water is part of that.
Joint Director (Tourism) Sunaina Mehta briefed that it is now commonly known that children who drink plenty of water have improved concentration levels and ability to learn.
Accepting the water cooler on behalf of the school was Principal Mrs. Saroj Bala who disclosed that she was excited about the donation.
Principal of the School and other staff were also present on the occasion. She thanked Rotary Club of Jammu Midtown for providing water cooler and water purifier for the welfare of students and staff of the school.
Members of Rotary Club of Jammu Helping Hands present on the occasion were Rtn Karuna Gupta (President), Rtn Sanjay Puri, Rtn Sunny Gupta, Rtn Davinder Madaan, Rtn Jatinder Mengi.
