90th Charter Anniversary Celebration

The Rotary Club of Amritsar joyously celebrated its 90th anniversary alongside the official visit of the District Governor at TMA Amritsar on 19th November 2023.
The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the guests from President Rtn Deepak Khanna and all members of the club. Collaring by CA Vikas khanna (Sargent at arms). Rtn. Sawan Arora ( myself) the Club Secretary, delivered secretary report through PowerPoint presentation. District Governor Rtn. Adv. Vipan Bhasin praised the Club President and its members for their association with Indias third oldest club and commended their exceptional projects. Rtn. Adv. Vipan Bhasin also encouraged the President and team to maintain their enthusiasm and undertake unique projects in the future.
Past President Rtn. Sachin Arora and PDG Rtn. CA Davinder Singh ji hosted and coordinated the event. A highlight was the surprise visit of Past Rotary International President Rtn. Shekhar Mehta, who graced the celebration, praised the club for its 90 years, and urged them to plan a grand project for their centenary. Dignitaries were honored with shawls and mementos.
